# VilpaMax vs Pip Short

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pip Short at every 5 days against VilpaMax's every 3 weeks. Pip Short also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VilpaMax sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Pip Short sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VilpaMax ships an update every 3 weeks, Pip Short every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
