# Cluely vs Sparklets

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cluely at free with in-app purchases against Sparklets's subscription. Cluely also leads on ratings volume (572 vs 2). Sparklets's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cluely sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Sparklets sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sparklets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cluely has 572 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cluely ships an update every 9 days, Sparklets every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
