# Method vs Prompt Mint

The clearest difference is update cadence: Method at every 5 days against Prompt Mint's every 3 weeks. Prompt Mint's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Method sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Prompt Mint sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Method ships an update every 5 days, Prompt Mint every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
