# Time Tracker vs HourLog

The clearest difference is ads: HourLog at none against Time Tracker's shown. Time Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and HourLog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time Tracker ships an update every 3 weeks, HourLog every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
