# Time Tracker vs Kess

The clearest difference is ads: Kess at none against Time Tracker's shown. Kess also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). Time Tracker's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Kess sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time Tracker ships an update every 3 weeks, Kess every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
