# CADDY+ vs Opengolf

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CADDY+ at 80% against Opengolf's 22%. Opengolf's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.8) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CADDY+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Opengolf sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Opengolf holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Opengolf has 29 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of CADDY+'s written reviews are positive against 22% of Opengolf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CADDY+ ships an update every 3 days, Opengolf every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
