# RotaBox vs Employee Shift Scheduler

The clearest difference is update cadence: RotaBox at every 6 weeks against Employee Shift Scheduler's every 3 months. Employee Shift Scheduler's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RotaBox sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $25.00 per month and Employee Shift Scheduler sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
