# Packz vs Big Black Cards

The clearest difference is update cadence: Big Black Cards at daily against Packz's fortnightly. Big Black Cards also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Packz's advantage is ratings volume (25K vs 1) and chart position (#2 vs unranked). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Big Black Cards holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Packz has 25K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Packz ships an update fortnightly, Big Black Cards daily. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
