# Smartodo vs 简日历

The clearest difference is update cadence: 简日历 at weekly against Smartodo's every 2 weeks. Smartodo's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smartodo sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and 简日历 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smartodo ships an update every 2 weeks, 简日历 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
