# Smartodo vs Phaseboard

The clearest difference is update cadence: Smartodo at every 2 weeks against Phaseboard's every 2 months. Smartodo also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smartodo sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Phaseboard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smartodo ships an update every 2 weeks, Phaseboard every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
