# ZapZip vs ScrollEd

The clearest difference is ads: ZapZip at none against ScrollEd's shown. ZapZip also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ZapZip sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and ScrollEd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ZapZip ships an update every 8 days, ScrollEd every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
