# FivePrayer vs IslamTools

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IslamTools at none against FivePrayer's 13. IslamTools also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). FivePrayer's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 6) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FivePrayer sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. IslamTools asks for nothing beyond the download.

FivePrayer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FivePrayer has 15K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of FivePrayer's written reviews are positive against 100% of IslamTools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FivePrayer ships an update weekly, IslamTools fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
