# FivePrayer vs 5Locks

The clearest difference is ratings volume: FivePrayer at 15K against 5Locks's 56. 5Locks's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FivePrayer sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and 5Locks sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for FivePrayer against 4.6 for 5Locks. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FivePrayer has 15K ratings behind it against 56, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of FivePrayer's written reviews are positive against 100% of 5Locks's.

FivePrayer ships an update every 8 days, 5Locks every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
