# iKontroller vs V

The clearest difference is ads: iKontroller at none against V's shown. V's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iKontroller sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and V sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iKontroller ships an update every 2 weeks, V every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
