# AnyView Cast vs ColdTrace

The clearest difference is rating: ColdTrace at 4.8 against AnyView Cast's 1.0. ColdTrace also leads on ratings volume (5.8K vs 2) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). AnyView Cast's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AnyView Cast sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and ColdTrace sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ColdTrace holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ColdTrace has 5.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of AnyView Cast's written reviews are positive against 36% of ColdTrace's.

AnyView Cast ships an update every 2 weeks, ColdTrace every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
