# Time Progress vs 玄宝

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 玄宝 at none against Time Progress's 1. 玄宝 also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Progress sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. 玄宝 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Time Progress ships an update every 3 weeks, 玄宝 every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
