# CFB Live vs Diamond

The clearest difference is ads: CFB Live at none against Diamond's shown. CFB Live also leads on device support (5 vs 3). Diamond's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 22) and review sentiment (96% vs 88%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CFB Live sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year and Diamond sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for CFB Live against 4.9 for Diamond. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Diamond has 1.3K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 88% of CFB Live's written reviews are positive against 96% of Diamond's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
