# Simple FTP Manager vs DR

The clearest difference is update cadence: DR at every 4 days against Simple FTP Manager's every 2 months. DR also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple FTP Manager sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DR sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simple FTP Manager ships an update every 2 months, DR every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
