# SkillQuest vs Sol

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sol at every 2 weeks against SkillQuest's every 6 weeks. SkillQuest's advantage is iOS requirement (16.2 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SkillQuest sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Sol sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SkillQuest ships an update every 6 weeks, Sol every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
