# SpeedCube vs Trainiee

The clearest difference is update cadence: SpeedCube at every 5 days against Trainiee's every 3 months. SpeedCube also leads on iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SpeedCube sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Trainiee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SpeedCube ships an update every 5 days, Trainiee every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
