# SMS Forwarder vs SMS Forwarder

The clearest difference is rating: SMS Forwarder at 4.6 against SMS Forwarder's 4.0. SMS Forwarder also leads on ratings volume (32 vs 4). SMS Forwarder's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 9 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMS Forwarder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and SMS Forwarder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SMS Forwarder holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SMS Forwarder has 32 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of SMS Forwarder's written reviews are positive against 100% of SMS Forwarder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SMS Forwarder ships an update every 9 days, SMS Forwarder every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
