# SplitVPN vs Inflect

The clearest difference is update cadence: Inflect at every 5 days against SplitVPN's fortnightly. SplitVPN's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SplitVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Inflect sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SplitVPN ships an update fortnightly, Inflect every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
