# Control vs Vertane

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vertane at 100% against Control's 0%. Vertane also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Control's advantage is ratings volume (38 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Control sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Vertane sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vertane holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Control has 38 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 0% of Control's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vertane's.
