# Alarm Reminders vs Flatbed

The clearest difference is rating: Flatbed at 5.0 against Alarm Reminders's 4.5. Flatbed also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Alarm Reminders's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (26 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alarm Reminders sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Flatbed sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flatbed holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alarm Reminders has 26 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Alarm Reminders ships an update every 2 weeks, Flatbed every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
