# Ango Tasks vs Beck

The clearest difference is ads: Ango Tasks at none against Beck's shown. Ango Tasks also leads on review sentiment (83% vs 50%) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Beck's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ango Tasks sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Beck sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Beck holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beck has 54 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Ango Tasks's written reviews are positive against 50% of Beck's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ango Tasks ships an update every 5 weeks, Beck every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
