# Coddy vs Codefinity

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Coddy at 83% against Codefinity's 33%. Coddy also leads on rating (4.8 vs 2.9) and ratings volume (434 vs 7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coddy sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Codefinity sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $79.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Coddy holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coddy has 434 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of Coddy's written reviews are positive against 33% of Codefinity's.

Coddy ships an update weekly, Codefinity every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
