# Waitit vs Countdown

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown at every 11 days against Waitit's every 2 months. On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Waitit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Waitit against 5.0 for Countdown. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Waitit ships an update every 2 months, Countdown every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
