# Waitit vs Countdown

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown at every 8 days against Waitit's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Waitit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Waitit ships an update every 2 months, Countdown every 8 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
