# Waitit vs Countdown Counter

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown Counter at every 4 days against Waitit's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Waitit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Countdown Counter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Waitit ships an update every 2 months, Countdown Counter every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
