# Shared Reminders vs LapseIn

The clearest difference is update cadence: LapseIn at every 2 days against Shared Reminders's every 3 weeks. LapseIn also leads on iOS requirement (18 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shared Reminders sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and LapseIn sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shared Reminders ships an update every 3 weeks, LapseIn every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
