# CalendarThis vs RoadNotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: RoadNotes at every 4 days against CalendarThis's every 9 days. CalendarThis's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CalendarThis sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and RoadNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CalendarThis ships an update every 9 days, RoadNotes every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
