# OW64 vs Readrrr

The clearest difference is monetization model: OW64 at free with in-app purchases against Readrrr's subscription. OW64 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Readrrr's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (22 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OW64 sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.19 per month and Readrrr sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OW64 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Readrrr has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OW64 ships an update monthly, Readrrr fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
