# Chronos vs EncryptaNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: EncryptaNote at every 2 days against Chronos's every 6 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chronos sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and EncryptaNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chronos ships an update every 6 days, EncryptaNote every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
