# FreeFlicks vs DramaNow

The clearest difference is rating: FreeFlicks at 5.0 against DramaNow's 3.1. DramaNow's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FreeFlicks sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and DramaNow sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FreeFlicks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DramaNow has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FreeFlicks ships an update every 2 months, DramaNow every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
