# FreeFlicks vs Flikso

The clearest difference is rating: FreeFlicks at 5.0 against Flikso's 1.5. Flikso's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FreeFlicks sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Flikso sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.90 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FreeFlicks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flikso has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FreeFlicks ships an update every 2 months, Flikso every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
