# Subby vs Taffy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Subby at every 2 weeks against Taffy's every 6 weeks. Subby also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subby sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Taffy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Subby ships an update every 2 weeks, Taffy every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
