# Mak Commander vs aether

The clearest difference is device support: Mak Commander at 3 against aether's 1. Mak Commander also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mak Commander sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and aether sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
