# Construction Calc vs Oxolo

The clearest difference is monetization model: Construction Calc at free against Oxolo's subscription. Oxolo's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Construction Calc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Oxolo sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Construction Calc ships an update every 3 months, Oxolo every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
