# AnimalSkills vs Renshi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Renshi at every 4 days against AnimalSkills's fortnightly. AnimalSkills's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AnimalSkills sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Renshi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AnimalSkills ships an update fortnightly, Renshi every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
