# AnimalSkills vs Strynx

The clearest difference is update cadence: Strynx at every 3 days against AnimalSkills's fortnightly. AnimalSkills's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AnimalSkills sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Strynx sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AnimalSkills ships an update fortnightly, Strynx every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
