# Duty shift vs StationHQ

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: StationHQ at none against Duty shift's 1. StationHQ also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). Duty shift's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Duty shift sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. StationHQ asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Duty shift against 5.0 for StationHQ. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StationHQ has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Duty shift ships an update every 9 days, StationHQ monthly. Both last shipped on October 10, 2026.
