# Brainwaves vs Between Us

The clearest difference is update cadence: Between Us at every 2 weeks against Brainwaves's monthly. Brainwaves's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainwaves sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Between Us sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brainwaves ships an update monthly, Between Us every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
