# Brainwaves vs Fruit Tree Tracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fruit Tree Tracker at every 9 days against Brainwaves's monthly. Brainwaves's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainwaves sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Fruit Tree Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brainwaves ships an update monthly, Fruit Tree Tracker every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
