# Focus Battery vs Dedset

The clearest difference is monetization model: Dedset at freemium against Focus Battery's subscription. Focus Battery's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.5). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Battery sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Dedset sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Focus Battery against 5.0 for Dedset. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 3 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Focus Battery ships an update every 4 days, Dedset fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
