# TextKeep vs Text Message Export

The clearest difference is rating: TextKeep at 4.4 against Text Message Export's 2.8. TextKeep also leads on review sentiment (59% vs 23%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). Text Message Export's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
