# Freshboard vs Ribbons 1

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ribbons 1 at every 4 days against Freshboard's monthly. Ribbons 1 also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Freshboard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ribbons 1 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Freshboard ships an update monthly, Ribbons 1 every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
