# Thirdy vs Subliminal Maker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Subliminal Maker at every 4 days against Thirdy's every 4 months. Thirdy's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thirdy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Subliminal Maker sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thirdy ships an update every 4 months, Subliminal Maker every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
