# Asterex vs Privilio

The clearest difference is update cadence: Privilio at every 2 days against Asterex's every 5 days. Privilio also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). Asterex's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Asterex sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Privilio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Asterex ships an update every 5 days, Privilio every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
