# Open Road vs RevMax

The clearest difference is ads: RevMax at none against Open Road's shown. Open Road's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (826 vs 20). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Open Road sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and RevMax sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Open Road holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Open Road has 826 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Open Road ships an update every 6 days, RevMax every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
