# Anticipate vs Countdown

The clearest difference is ads: Anticipate at none against Countdown's shown. Anticipate also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anticipate sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Countdown sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Anticipate ships an update every 4 days, Countdown every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
